Sadly\, nearly 40% of these women will be back in prison within three years. \nHowever\, women released from prison who receive support from foundations like Arouet and Televerde Foundation have less than a 10% recidivism rate in the same period. \nArouet and Televerde Foundation support women with their transition out of prison\, beginning their work with each woman about one year prior to their release date. The two non-profit organizations are uniquely intertwined and together work to reduce the recidivism rate in Arizona and positively impact the local economy and workforce. By supporting Once Upon a Second Chance\, you will be providing much needed support to both Arouet and Televerde Foundations’ mission of empowering currently and formerly incarcerated women to find purpose and success in the professional workforce. Arouet and Televerde Foundation are working together to better our community.
